Support local Relay for Life

This Saturday night, you have an opportunity to strike a blow against cancer.
By participating in the local Relay for Life – either in events leading up to it or on the night of the relay – you can help raise funds to fight cancer right here in Fayette County.
Once again, the event will be held at Rogier Park. Walkers will be circling the park on the walking path, and a number of vendors will be selling their products or services to raise more money to fight cancer. And it's all done in a fun atmosphere, with live music and a variety of entertainment going on throughout the night.
The event kicks off at 6 p.m. with the moving survivor lap. At that time, those who have survived a bout with cancer will walk around the upper loop of the park.
One of the other meaningful events is the luminaria service at 9:15 p.m. During that time, luminaria will be lighted in memory of or in honor of people touched by cancer.
Come to the park this Saturday. Enjoy the fellowship and entertainment there. And do your part to fight cancer.
