Thursday updates from the IHSA Individual State Wrestling Tournament

4:56 p.m.: Ulmer won, 14-8.
4:56 p.m.: Godberson lost in overtime, 5-4.
3:58 p.m.: Godberson should be up in about 20 minutes, and Ulmer will wrestle shortly after that.
3:55 p.m.: With his win, Edwards is assured at least a spot in the wrestle-backs if he is unable to win in the second round on Friday.
3:50 p.m.: Edwards won his first-round match, 5-4, in overtime.
3:50 p.m.: Purcell lost, 12-2.
3:26 p.m.: Blankenship lost by technical fall at 4:48. Purcell will wrestle in about two minutes.
3:09 p.m.: Blankenship is now on deck
2:55 p.m.: Blankenship's match should begin at approximately 3:15-3:30 p.m. The freshman (21-11) will wrestle against No. 2 seed Andy Rodawold (33-2), a junior from Wilmington.
2:50 p.m.: Class 1A wrestling kicked off this afternoon just after 2:30 p.m., and the session is scheduled to close by 4:30 p.m.
