Bombers beat BCCH; stay perfect in NTC

The Bombers remained perfect in National Trail Conference play and also picked up an Egyptian-Illini Conference victory last Friday, with a 3-1 win at Beecher City/Cowden-Herrick.
Senior Drake Hall struck out 10 in a complete game for his second win of the fall, allowing just one run on four hits. He did not walk a batter.
Junior Malachi Maxey paced the offense, going 2-for-4, with a double and an RBI. Also driving in runs for the Bombers (2-1, 2-0 NTC, 1-0 EIC) were Elijah Austin, who doubled, and Cole Horner.
BCCH’s Austin Rexroad struck out 15 over seven innings.

BSE allowed six runs in the first two innings and couldn’t recover in last Thursday’s 10-3 loss to North Clay.
Junior Malachi Maxey went 2-for-4, and Lewis Brown doubled, but there were few highlights for the Bombers (1-1).
Sophomore Landon Feezel took the loss, tossing four innings and striking out two. He allowed seven runs on four hits and seven walks.
Noah Flowers and Klayton Kroll each drove home a run.
