The Aces finally played a game in the Egyptian-Illini Conference, but despite a career-high scoring effort by sophomore Ty James, the Aces couldn’t get past Christ Our Rock Lutheran on Monday in a 67-46 loss.
James had a game-high 23 points and 10 rebounds for Mulberry Grove (2-9, 0-1 EIC), which had its first four EIC games canceled due to snow.

Damian Latham had three 3-pointers and 17 points, but the Aces couldn’t find enough offense in the fourth quarter last Friday to come back in a 56-49 loss at Bunker Hill.
Mulberry Grove trailed by four after Bunker Hill struggled to score in the third quarter, but the Minutemen recovered and put in 21 points in the final eight minutes to earn the victory.
Freshman Austin Redfern added 13 points for the Aces (2-8), who missed 12 free throws in the contest.

The Warriors picked up their ninth win of the season on Tuesday, with a 60-51 win against Dieterich.
Freshman Jered Cain had 28 points to lead Patoka (9-4), which held a close lead for much of the game.

Freshman Landon Feezel set his career-high in scoring for the second straight game on Tuesday and St. Elmo/Brownstown picked up its second win in the Egyptian-Illini Conference with a 74-44 victory against Ramsey.
Feezel had 17 points and 10 rebounds to lead the Eagles (9-6, 2-0 EIC), and seniors Levi Maxey and Jacob Behrends each scored 15 points.
Ramsey was led in scoring by senior Tylor Knisley, who scored 16.
SEB dominated the game from start to finish, scoring 42 points in the first half to take a 17-point lead, and extending it 13 more points in the final two quarters.

St. Elmo/Brownstown had its best single-quarter scoring output of the season to turn a one-point game into a blowout last Friday, taking down Stew-Stras, 75-59, in National Trail Conference action.
The Eagles scored 27 points in the second period to turn a 12-11 first-quarter lead into a 39-25 advantage at halftime, and cruised through the second half to move to 4-1 in NTC games and score in the 70s for the first time this winter.
SEB (8-6) was led by senior Levi Maxey’s 23 points, and freshman Landon Feezel added a career-high 16.
Senior Jacob Behrends had 16 points, and senior Cole Smithson put in 11, besting his career-high by a point.

Odin wasted no time getting its offense rolling on Monday, scoring 41 points in the first half on the way to a 57-37 win against South Central.
Making up a game originally scheduled for Dec. 6, the Eagles got double-digit scoring from three players, while holding the Cougars (0-13) to 13 points or fewer in each quarter.
Sophomore Brett Harmeier had 10 points to lead South Central.
