Jr. wrestlers place second as a team in Pittsfield tourney

The Vandalia Jr. wrestlers took second as a team as Pittsfield on Friday, Dec. 27, and had five individual first-place finishers.

That was the second straight second-place finish after the team took that place at the Highland Howl on Dec. 22.

7- and 8-year-olds
Eric McKinney placed first
Baelynd Brown placed second
Owen Miller placed place second

9- and 10-year-olds

11- and 12-year-olds
Tanner Swain placed first
Ethan Largent placed second

13- and 14-year-olds
Jarrett Paslay placed third

Vandalia resident Anthony Enlow placed first in his weight division at Granite City on Sunday, Dec. 29. He went 3-0 to claim the championship.
