Fayette County to host another Volley for the Cure match

Fayette County is gearing up for another Volley for the Cure match. After a successful game was held at Vandalia earlier this month, two more local teams will be playing a match to raise money for cancer research. South Central will host Patoka next Wednesday at 6 p.m. for the second VFTC match in the county this year. There will be silent auctions, pork BBQ sandwiches and games during the evening, and all proceeds will be donated to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. Anyone in the area who has survived a bout with cancer or is currently fighting the disease is invited to attend and be recognized between the varsity and junior varsity matches.
