Lady Vandals pick up three-set win at Hillsboro for 12th victory of season

The Lady Vandals needed all three sets, but behind strong play from junior Ally Sasse were able to hang on for the 25-16, 22-25, 25-20 victory.

Sasse had a career-high 14 kills in Tuesday's match at Hillsboro, and senior Megan Godoyo and junior Kadi Metzger each added seven.

Vandalia's serving was also strong, with Godoyo, Metzger and junior Mercedes Reynolds each recording three aces.

The Lady Vandals (12-6) will head to Litchfield on Thursday, travel to the Highland Tournament on Friday and Saturday, and travel to St. Anthony next Tuesday.
