Wedding
Chelsey Rae Stewart and Jacob Andrew Joliff were united in marriage in a ceremony at 5 p.m. on May 25, 2013, at Hidden Lake Winery in Aviston, with the Rev. Robert Weaver officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Russell and Julie Stewart of Vandalia.
She was given in marriage by her parents.
The bride wore an Allure Romancestrapless A-line gown with a sweetheart bodice with ruched organza and a satin band with Swarovoski crystals defining a natural waistline. The chapel train-length skirt was covered in vintage tace, with buttons and Swarovoski crystals. She wore a tiara with a veil edged with crystals and carried a nosegay bouquet of deep purple caila lilies surrounded by green orchids.
She chose a friend, Karlee Brimberry of Vandalia, as her maid of honor.
Bridesmaids were: Hannah Edwards, Jessie Bright and Allyson Depew, all of Vandalia and all friends of the bride; Shelbi Stewart of Vandalia, cousin of the bride; and Ryleigh Jolliff of Mulberry Grove, niece of the groom. They wore knee-length, short crinkle chiffon dresses with front cascades in silver.
Brooklyn and Kamryn Jolliff, and Avery Hentze, nieces of the groom, were flower girls, and Ryleigh Jolliff and Shelbi Stewart were miniature brides.
The groom is the son of Kurt and Tammy Jolliff of Mulberry Grove.
He chose his brother, Jared Jolliff of Mulberry Grove, as his best man. Groomsmen were: James Koontz of Greenville, cousin of the groom; Joey Bauer and Aarin Kendall, friends of the groom; and Cody Stewart of Vandalia, cousin of the groom.
Ushers were Andrew Stewart, Jeremy Koontz and Ryan Stewart.
Landon Hentze, nephew of the groom, was the ringbearer.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held in the Champaign Room at Hidden Lake Winery.
The couple honeymooned in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.
The bride is a 2012 graduate of Vandalia Community High School and is a student at Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville.
She is a waitress at Joe’s Pizza in Greenville.
The groom is a 2007 graduate of Mulberry Grove High School and a 2011 graduate of Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville.
He is a registered nurse working in the emergency room at Greenville Regional Hospital in Greenville and is a basketball coach at Mulberry Grove Elementary School.
The couple resides in Mulberry Grove.
