Hosick – 40 years

Mr. and Mrs. Steve Hosick of Vandalia will celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary on Sept. 6.

Steve Hosick, the son of Rosella and the late Dale Hosick, and Lynda McAllister, the daughter of the late Jack and Dolores McAllister, were married on Sept. 6, 1980, at Winstanley Baptist Church in Fairview Heights, with the late Wendell Garrison officiating.
Sherry McAllister was the maid of honor, and Anthony Ferera was the best man.
Steve is employed at Hosick Motors in Vandalia, and Lynda is self-employed.
They are the parents of three sons: Austin Hosick and his wife, Rachelle, and sons Hunter and Hudson; Adam Hosick and his wife, Beth, and daughter Raegyn and son Kyden coming in September; and Andy Hosick and his friend Emilie.
To celebrate their anniversary, the Hosicks will take a trip to Branson, and in October are heading to Virginia and the Carolinas, traveling by RV.
