Two titles for Brownstown/St. Elmo co-op

The Brownstown Jr. High basketball team recently were named champions of two tournaments, winning at South Central on Oct. 5, and at the National Trail Conference Tournament in Dieterich last Saturday.

Team members are: Tessa Philpot, Brooke Mayfield, Courtney Zasada, Morgan Brown, Mannie Grames, Elissa Baron, Brandi Howard, Deanna Shelton, Fatima Viramontes, Dana Shelton, Makenzie Parkison, Sierra Stevens and Madison Carson. The Jr. Lady Bombers are coached by Emily Dees, who is assisted by Randy Sasse.
