Lady Vandals suffer first loss of season at Pana

PANA — A subpar attack against a very disciplined Pana volleyball team led to Vandalia's first loss of the season Thursday night.

The Lady Vandals made too many errors in a 25-10, 25-19 loss, said coach Allison Smith.

Senior Sierah Ruffner had six kills, and senior Shelby Foster had three service aces to lead the Lady Vandals (15-1) in the nonconference game. The conference date is in Vandalia on Oct. 18.

The next game is on Monday at Taylorville.
