Anniversary

Edward and Doris Helm of Vandalia will celebrate their 65th wedding anniversary on Sept. 7.

Ed Helm and the former Doris Isbell were married at her parents’ home in Vandalia on Sept. 7, 1947.
They are the parents of a daughter, Jan and her husband Pete Manuel of Marshall.
They also have one grandson, Chris and wife Kim of Covington, Ga., and two great-granddaughters.
