Hailey Carson of St. Elmo and Trey Wright of Beecher City have announced their engagement and upcoming marriage.

The future bride is the daughter of Bud and Melissa Carson of St. Elmo. She is the granddaughter of Lloyd and Cheryl Carson of St. Elmo, and Keith and Mary Denton of Beecher City.
She is a 2009 graduate of St. Elmo High School and a 2012 graduate of Lake Land College with an associate’s degree in dental hygiene.
The future groom is the son of Steve and Marsha Wright of Beecher City. He is the grandson of Gilbert Wright of St. Elmo, Genevive Harris of Ramsey, and Clement Lilly of St. Elmo and the late PeeWee Lilly.
He is a 2008 graduate of St. Elmo High School and a 2011 graduate of Lake Land College with an associate’s degree in ag business and supply.
An Oct. 20 wedding at Kaskaskia Church in rural Beecher City is being planned.
