Beasley tosses no-hitter vs. Bombers on Tuesday

St. Elmo junior Connor Beasley fired a five-inning no-hitter against Brownstown on Tuesday.

With the 10-0 win, St. Elmo moved its record to 17-6, which is a school record for wins in a season.

The Eagles have now won 11 games in a row.

Beasley (4-3) was locked in throughout the game, striking out seven batters against just one walk. St. Elmo also committed one error in the game.

The Eagles gave him plenty of run support, too, scoring six times in the first inning and four more times in the fourth.

Despite 10 runs, St. Elmo had just three hits, two of which came from sophomore Levi Maxey.

He also added three RBI.

Brownstown is 4-13 on the season.
