Sperry, Scholes named co-MVPs of EIC; area players dominate selections
St. Elmo High School seniors Ben Sperry and Blaine Scholes were named co-MVPs of the Egyptian-Illini Conference to lead a group of area players who made up the entire all-conference first team.
In total, area players filled all but six of the spots on the second team and honorable mention team, with players from Beecher City rounding out the selections.
