Field of Dreams starts another project

Beginning last Wednesday, the fencing at the high school softball diamond was removed to make way for the construction of new dugouts that will match those at the high school baseball field. The Field of Dreams committee is holding its monthly meeting at the First Presbyterian Church in Vandalia on Tuesday at 6:30 p.m., where more information will be shared. The public is invited to attend.

A pile of concrete was all that was left of the visitor’s dugout at the high school softball field on Monday, as the Vandalia Field of Dreams committee made progress on its third major project.
