Flora takes No. 1 seed at VHT; Vandals draw No. 4

Seeds were selected for the 39th Vandalia Holiday Tournament Wednesday night at a gathering of coaches at the Vandalia Country Club.

Flora – which won last year's tournament – was a unanimous No. 1 selection for this season's tourney. Wesclin took the No. 2 seed, while Pana and Vandalia used a coinflip to determine the No. 3 and No. 4 seeds.

Fayette County schools also in the tournament: St. Elmo, No. 7 seed; and South Central, No. 10 seed.

A schedule for the tournament – which runs from Dec. 27-30 – will be announced as soon as possible.
