PHOTO: Safe-T/Health Expo Winners
The Kids Safe-T/Health Expo, sponsored by Fayette County Hospital and Long Term Care, State Farm Insurance, Fayette County Interagency Council (FCIC) and the Safe Kids Coalition, was held on Saturday, Sept. 17, at Kaskaskia College. More than 500 people attended the event. State Farm Insurance gave away two bicycles and 13 bicycle helmets to promote bicycle safety at the event.
The winners are pictured above. Bicycle winners were: Callie Caylor (left in the front row) and Madison Dye. In the back row, from left, are helmet winners: Nicholas Jackson, Colin Paschall, Denny Gerkin (from State Farm Insurance), Tyson Mizeur, Malanie Parkison, Lenora Clark, Emma Warner and Phil Shroyer. Those not pictured, but winning helmets, were: Mariana Bowles, Kali Bruno, Markus Isiah, Kale Konrad, Aspen Garza and Halie Martin.
