Lutheran women give to St. L. seminary students

The Altamont Zone of the Lutheran Women's Missionary League recently collected food, toiletries and other items to be donated to Concordia Seminary students and their families at the St. Louis campus.
The following congregations participated: Holy Cross Ladies Society, Vandalia; Immanuel Ladies Aid, Shobonier; St. Paul Ladies Aid, Shobonier; St. Peter LWML/Ladies Aid, St. Peter; Immanuel LWML and Immanuel Ladies Aid, Altamont; St. Paul's Ladies Aid, Blue Point; Bethlehem Ladies Aid, Altamont; Zion LWML, Altamont; and Salem Ladies Society, Salem.
On Nov. 28, several volunteers boxed and loaded the food on a trailer.
Then, on Nov. 29, Mary Zumwalt and students from Altamont Lutheran Interparish School delivered the boxes to the Food Pantry at Concordia Seminary in St. Louis.
