Vandalia soccer results (Sept. 22-28)

Tuesday, Sept. 28
vs. Greenville
The Vandalia High School soccer team lost to Greenville 7-0 on Tuesday. Goalies Austa Keppler and Lucas McDowell had nine saves in goal.

The JV team was defeated, 4-0.

Monday, Sept. 27
vs. Carlyle
Vandalia lost 8-2 to Altamont on Monday. Matt Grove scored both goals for the Vandals. Sawyer Dickenson assisted one of Grove's goals.

Patrick Bauer and McDowell combined for six saves in goal.

Saturday, Sept. 25
vs. Carlinville
Vandalia lost to Carlinville 8-0 on Saturday. Bauer had six saves in goal.

The JV team was defeated, 2-0.

Thursday, Sept. 23
vs. Altamont
Vandalia lost 4-0 to Altamont last Thursday. Bauer had seven saves in goal.

The JV team was defeated, 2-0.

Wednesday Sept. 22
vs. EAWR
Vandalia lost 2-0 to East Alton-Wood River last Wednesday. Bauer had seven saves in goal.

The JV team was defeated, 2-0, as well.
