Chelsey Stewart of Vandalia and Jacob Jolliff of Mulberry Grove have announced their engagement and upcoming marriage.
The future bride is the daughter of Russell and Julie Stewart of Vandalia, and the granddaughter of Don and Karin Stewart, the late Lawrence and Barbara Brown, and the late George and Ruby Hausmann.
A 2012 graduate of Vandalia Community High School, she is enrolled at Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville.
She is working as a waitress at Joe’s Pizza in Greenville.
The future groom is the son of Kurt and Tammy Jolliff, and the grandson of Gene and Dottie Jolliff, and the late Dean and Marilyn Koontz.
He is a 2007 graduate of Mulberry Grove High School and a 2012 graduate of Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville.
He is a registered nurse working in the emergency room at Greenville Regional Hospital, and is an elementary basketball coach for the Mulberry Grove School District.
The couple are planning a 5 p.m. wedding on May 25 at Hidden Lake Winery in Aviston, with a reception to follow at the winery.
