Anniversary
On May 4, 1952, Kenneth Hall and Betty Roe walked across the road from her parents’ home to Hurricane Church and were married by the Rev. Warren Littleford.
Betty is the daughter of the late Archie and Waive Roe, and Kenneth is the son of the late Dean and Ethel Hall.
Kenneth is retired after pasturing churches in Illinois and Minnesota for 44 years. Betty is a retired school teacher.
The Halls will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary in June, when all of their family can be present.
They are the parents of four sons: Larry Hall and his wife Teri of Rochester, Minn., Terry Hall and his wife Dorothy of New York, N.Y.; Stanley Hall and his wife Barbara of Peru, Ind.; and Richard Hall and his wife Cindy of Zionsville, Ind.
They have 14 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
The Halls recently moved from Greenville to Vandalia, and they spend their winters in Arizona.
