Mulberry Grove student places in state-wide photography contest

On a trip to the Farm Progress Show in Decatur, Allison Hemker saw a flyer for a photography contest. Hemker has been taking pictures since she was eight years old and decided to give the contest a try. Hemker ended up placing 3rd in her age group out of 230 participants. 

Her photo “This Is How We Roll” has been made into a postcard and earned a spot as the October photo on the Ag Invest 2024-25 calendar.

Currently a Sophomore in high school Hemker plans to continue taking pictures and enter the contest again next year.
