Blumer wins AFA State Teacher of the Year

We all have fond memories of some of our favorite teachers from childhood. Teaching is a vital profession, as teachers bless the lives of children, who will someday become adults, every single day. Jackie Blumer is one who steps into this role incredibly well and is undoubtedly making lasting impressions on her students. This is apparent as Blumer has been honored as the State Teacher of The Year by the AFA (Air & Space Forces Association). According to the AFA website, “Becoming the AFA State Teacher of the Year involves recognizing exemplary K-12 educators who make a profound difference in their students’ lives and communities.” Blumer was first recognized on the Chapter level before making it onto, and ultimately winning the State level. Blumer informed us she has been passed on for possible National recognition.
