Pocahontas Elementary

Pocahontas Elementary held its promotion on Monday, May 20th at 7:00 in the gymnasium.  Principal, Chad Nelson welcomed students, staff and guests.  Mr. Nelson, along with Mrs. Beckham, Mr. File, Mr. Oakley, Mrs. Cottrell, Mrs. Wilkinson and Mrs. Schisler presented awards selected by the staff at PES.  The staff at PES congratulates the graduates and award winners. 

Awards for 2024 include: the American Legion Citizen award: Wyatt Trapp and Bella Linderman.  American Legion Athlete Award: Ethan Stevens and Melanie Mills.  Dave Moore Award: Janna Glisson. Robin Elliott Award: Kenzi Stefanisin.  Outstanding 8th grader: Caleb Hibbs.  Art award: Eli Orender.  Music award Raelynn Smith and Bella Linderman.  Social Studies award to Ryland Clanton.  Science award to Bentlie Siebert.  Math award to Bentlie Siebert.  Language Arts award to Ryland Clanton.
