God’s House of Glory in Shobonier is holding two special events in February.
“Raise the Roof,” on Feb. 6, is a special event to raise funds for a new roof on the church, which is located at 908 N. 895 St., Shobonier.
A chili and chicken and noodle dinner, from 2-4 p.m., is $5, with a menu of chili or chicken and noodles, peanut butter sandwich, drink and dessert.
From 5-6:30 p.m., Judah First, a 2020 JMA award-winning band, will hold a jam session, with a love offering taken for the roof fund.
On Feb. 13, at 5 p.m., the church will hold “All You Need is Love.”
The free event, held to bring people together in love and unity, and to encourage each other and the community during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The night of worship, prayer and revival will feature Paul Budde, Montell and Dustin Fields, the church choir, Crossing Jordan, and the Travis Lee Band.
