? The St. Elmo Lions Club is holding its annual pancake and sausage breakfast from 7 a.m-1 p.m. at the St. Elmo American Legion Home. The cost is $5 and proceeds go to the Lions' scholarship fund. Directions to the Legion Home are: north on Walnut Street from U.S. Route 40 to Ninth Street, then east two blocks.

St. Paul Lutheran Church will hold its annual barbecue dinner, with serving from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. The menu includes barbecued pork, hot dogs, German potato salad, baked beans, cole slaw and homemade desserts. The cost is $10 for adults and $5 for children, and carry-outs will be available. The church is located at 1608 E. 800 Ave., Shobonier.
? The youth of First United Methodist Church in Vandalia are holding a spaghetti lunch fundraiser in Wesley Hall at the church from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. The menu includes spaghetti, salad and dessert. Donations are being accepted for the meal, and they will provide camperships for youth wanting to attend a camp in Central or Southern Illinois this summer. ? The Greater Fayette County Chamber of Commerce will hold its monthly meeting in the Lincoln Room at Ponderosa Steakhouse in Vandalia. A noon lumcheon is followed by a business meeting and a program by Susan Williams of Pro Comp Case Management and Mediation Resolutions.
