First of Four Statehouse Story Times

Madelyn Knight, a seasonal interpreter at the Lewis & Clark State Historic Site, tells about the Lewis & Clark expedition during the first of four story times at the Vandalia Statehouse last Thursday. The third story time is this Friday, on Cahokia Mounds, and the fourth is on Friday, Aug. 2, on Abraham Lincoln and the Vandalia Statehouse. The story times are from 10:30-11:30 a.m., and in addition to the story time presentations, there are refreshments and information about other state historic sites.
