City striping streets, school crosswalks

For the next two weeks, weather permitting, the city of Vandalia’s public works department will be striping streets and school crosswalks.
The striping will be done on streets in residential and commercial areas outside the downtown business district.
Public Works Director Marlin Filer asks residents to be alert for road closures and wet paint.
