? The United Methodist Men at First United Methodist Church in Vandalia will hold their annual pancake and sausage supper from 4:30-7 p.m. in Wesley Hall at the church, 127 N. Fourth St., Vandalia. Free-will donations will be accepted. The proceeds will support the Methodist Men projects.
? The Fayette County Cancer Fund is holding a public meeting at 7 p.m. in the large conference room at Fayette County Hospital by Long Term Care.

? Bingo at the American Legion Home in Vandalia.
? A Nar-Anon meeting will be held at 7 p.m. at Northside Christian Church, 1845 W. Jackson St., Vandalia.
? The Vandalia Moose Lodge is holding an all-you-can-eat chicken and fish dinner. The cost is $8, and carry-outs will be available. It is open to the public.

 The Vandalia Women of the Moose meet at 5:30 p.m. at the Vandalia Moose Lodge.
? The Vandalia City Council meets at 7:30 p.m. at city hall.
? The Fayette County Democrats meet at 7:30 p.m. at the Senior Citizens Center, 616 W. Jackson St., Vandalia.

Tuesday, March 19

? The Christian Ladies Breakfast Club meets at 9:30 a.m. at Denny's in Vandalia. Attendees may purchase breakfast. For more information, contact Faye Watson, 267-8487.
? The Vandalia Rotary Club meets at noon at Ponderosa Steakhouse.
? An American Red Cross blood drive will be held from 2:30-6:30 p.m. at Zimmerman's Greenhouse, 1386 Ave., rural Shobonier.
? The Spools of Fun Quilt Club meets at 7 p.m. at the FAYCO building on Sunset Drive in Vandalia.
? The Vandalia Board of Education meets at 5 p.m. in the district's administration center.

Thursday, March 21

? Soroptimist International of Vandalia invites all women to its program meeting at noon in the Lincoln Room at Ponderosa Steakhouse. The upcoming vote on a sales tax increase for county schools will be discussed. All guests are welcome to purchase lunch. ? The Vandalia Historical Society will present a Casino Night from 6-11 p.m. at the Vandlaia Moose Lodge. Tickets are $50 and include hors d'oeuvres, beer and $1,000 in playing chips.
