VPD Shop with a Cop

The Vandalia Police Department provided 30 local children with Christmas this year, receiving the largest amount of donations to date. Land of Lincoln Credit Union again served as a donation site and also had employees assisting with the shopping. Also assisting the VPD staff, including telecommunicators, were Vandalia firefighters, city hall employees, Mayor Rick Gottman and wife Anita, spouses of city employees and other adult and children volunteers.
