South Central Team at Envirothon

Students from South Central FFA attended the Envirothon competition on Thursday, April 12, at Ballard Nature in Altamont. They were tested on five different elements of the environment – soils, forestry, wildlife, aquatics, and a fifth area that changes each year. This fifth topic area was on Western Rangeland Management. The students had great time learning about these different areas before they took the tests. At each station, there was an expert that spoke about their career and how it related to the area that the students were going to be tested on their knowledge of. South Central Placed second in Fayette County and 12th overall in Land Use District 10. Team Members were Brody Huddlestun, Kaleb Lacey, Dawson Carter, Adam Schroeder and Jacob Hanks.
