Boys bowling team splits with Taylorville

The Vandalia boys bowling team outscored Taylorville in five of six games in recording a split last week.
On Wednesday at Pana, the VCHS squad won the first game, 848-772, and the second game, 967-799, but lost the third game by 272 pins, 1,039-767, giving Taylorville the match win.
Nic Lutz rolled a 605 series to lead the Vandalia squad.

On Thursday, the Vandals rolled a 2,708 total in winning all three games against Taylorville.
Garrett had a 640 series to lead Vandalia, Hoffman totaled 598 and Lutz had a 590 series.
