Death
Ralph “Ed” Morton, 86, of St. Peter, died on Saturday, Jan. 7.
The funeral and visitation were held on Wednesday at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church.
Baptism
Lucy Eleanor Murphree, daughter of Nathan and Megan (Wollin) Murphree, was baptized on Sunday at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church. Her godparents are Aaron Murphree, Seth Murphree and Danielle Chasteen.
St. Peter’s School Fun Fair Supper & Auction
A fun fair, supper and auction will be held on Sunday at the St. Peter’s Lutheran School gym. Food and games will run from 3:30-5:30 p.m., followed by a raffle drawing and a live auction at 6 p.m.
The meal will feature chili, chicken noodle soup, barbecue, hot dogs and plenty of desserts. The cost for the supper is a free-will donation.
Cash prizes for the raffle prize range from $50 to a grand prize of $500. You do not need to be present to be a winner.
Babysitting will be provided for smaller children during the time of the auction (6-8 p.m.).  Proceeds will go toward upgrading the gym.
St. Peter’s Lutheran Church
Worship attendance on Sunday morning was 187.
The organist was Rita Yagow.
Attending elders were Paul Reynolds and Brien Guy.
