Vandalia business cited for sale to minor

The Redwood Inn in Vandalia was cited by the Illinois State Police during an Alcohol Compliance check conducted last Wednesday in Fayette County. The state police, in conjunction with the Illinois Liquor Commission, conducted the compliance check, visiting 18 locations in Vandalia. The state police said that a Redwood employee, Paige L. Lorton, was arrested for unlawful delivery of alcoholic liquor to a minor, a Class A misdemeanor. She was released on a notice to appear in court.
