Patoka tops Mulberry Grove for regional volleyball title

The Patoka High School volleyball team defeated Mulberry Grove 25-18, 25-17 in the championship game of the Class 1A Mulberry Grove Regional on Thursday night.
The win propels Patoka into Tuesday's Louisville North Clay Sectional, where they'll play Woodlawn at 5:30 p.m.
Both sets were close and back and forth on Thursday, but Patoka pulled out the victory to advance.
Mulberry Grove's season came to an end with the loss.

Patoka was the No. 3 seed at the regional, while Mulberry Grove was the No. 4 seed. Both teams earned upsets in the semifinals to advance to the championship match.
