Patoka registration is Aug. 3-6

The Patoka School District has released registration information for the 2014-15 school year.
The first day of school is Monday, Aug. 18, with students in session from 8:15 a.m.-2:15 p.m. For the first two weeks of school, students will be dismissed at 2:15 p.m.
Registration will be held under the following schedule:
• Pre-K – Monday, Aug. 3, 8:30 a.m.-3 p.m.
• K-12 – Monday and Tuesday, Aug. 4-5, 8:30 a.m.-3 p.m.; and Wednesday, Aug. 6, noon-6 p.m.
The school office will be closed from 11 a.m.-noon each day.
Book and Lab Fees
• Grades K-6 – $45 for books and $15 lab fee.
• Grades 7-12 – $50 for books and $20 lab fee.
For students planning to participate in sports, a sports fee of $20 is due at registration, with a family limit of $50.
A payment of at least $10 for meals is due at registration.
For students beginning driver education, a $50 fee is due at registration.
Parents of all students are reminded to provide emergency phone numbers at registration, and parents of kindergarten students are to take the packet they received in the mail.
Physical examinations are required for students entering pre-K, kindergarten, sixth grade and ninth grade.
Dental exams are required for those entering kindergarten, second grade and sixth grade.
Vision exams are required for students entering kindergarten.
Physical education suits are required for grades 7-12, and they will be available in the office for $15.
Early-bird purchase of 2014-15 yearbooks will be available: junior high/high school, $35 or $40 with their names on them; and grade school, $10.
