? The Vandalia Park District Board of Trustees will meet at 4 p.m. in the conference room at the Okaw Area Vocational Center, located west of Vandalia Community High School.
? Evans Public Library in Vandalia will host PACK (Pups Assisting Children with Kindness) from 5:30-6:45 p.m. Children of all ages are welcome to read to DarnFar Ranch's specially trained therapy dogs. Registration is required; to register, call the library, 283-2824, or stop by the library.
? CenterPointe Church, located at 1616 Veterans Ave. in Vandalia, is holding free Weekly Fit Club sessions at 6 p.m. every Thursday.

Saturday, March 15
? The Fayette County Mobile Food Pantry will be in the parking lot of Vandalia Community High School at 10 a.m., rain or shine. Food will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis. Those going to receive food should take bags, baskets or boxes.
? The HCE Honeys Relay for Life team will hold a soup dinner from noon-3 p.m. at the Vandalia Eagles Club. The menu will include chili and vegetable soup, peanut butter sandwiches and desserts. The cost for children ages 6-12 is $3, and children 5 and under are free. A 50/50 drawing and a raffle for a garden basket will be held. Music will be performed by Mojo Universe.
Monday, March 17
? Evans Public Library's Wee Read Program will begin. The program is open to children age 3 through kindergarten-age. To sign up, stop by or call the library, 283-2824.
? The Women of the Moose will meet at 6:30 p.m. at the Vandalia Moose Lodge.
? The VFW Auxiliary will meet at 7 p.m. at the VFW Home on West St. Louis Avenue in Vandalia.
? The Vandalia City Council meets at 7:30 p.m. at city hall.
Tuesday, March 18
? The Vandalia Rotary Club meets at noon at Ponderosa Steakhouse.
? An American Red Cross blood drive, sponsored by the Vandalia Rotary Club and Vandalia Women's Club, will be held from noon-6 p.m. at the Vandalia Moose Lodge. All donors will receive food and refreshments. To schedule an appointment, visit www.redcrossblood.org.
? TOPS IL 2020 will meet in the Fayette County Hospital conference room. Weigh-in is from 5-5:30 p.m., with the meeting to follow.
? A Weight Watchers meeting will be held at 5:30 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Vandalia; weigh-in is at 5 p.m. Visitors are welcome to attend the meeting free of charge.
