Evans Library starts Teen Advisory Board

Teen Advisory Board is a new program for junior high and high school students at Evans Public Library in Vandalia.
The library’s TAB is a group of teens who advise library staff on how to better serve the library’s teen population. Members offer insight on library materials to purchase, programming ideas and other library-related activities.
The TAB meetings are held once a month and last about one hour.
During this time, teens discuss and plan upcoming activities, book suggestions, programming ideas and ways the library can help teens.
To apply for TAB membership, stop by the library for an application. Members must be in grades 7-12 or 13-19 years old.
