FNB promotes McCarty to loan officer
First National Bank has promoted Megan McCarty to loan officer, effective Oct. 1.
McCarty, a Vandalia resident, graduated from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville in 2010 with a bachelor’s degree in business administration, with a specialization in management.
She began her career at First National Bank in October 2010 as a loan clerk, and moved to a junior loan officer in 2012.
“It is a privilege working for a community bank that is committed to its customers, employees and the local community,“ McCarty said. "I look forward to expanding my knowledge and experience in the banking industry."
Steve Henna, vice president and chief lending officer, said: “Megan has worked in the loan department for more than three years, and we are confident in her ability to service our customers’ borrowing needs.”
She is a member of Soroptimist International of Vandalia.
She is the daughter of Tom and Marcie McCarty of Vandalia.
First National Bank has seven facilities in Vandalia, Ramsey, Patoka, Mulberry Grove and Greenville.
The bank has grown to more than $293 million in assets, while serving the area for more than 148 years.
