Brownstown Elementary School held a program to honor local veterans on Tuesday morning. Bernie Caldwell, right, talked about his experiences in the Marines, and Alfred Baldes, seated to Caldwell’s right, performed ‘Taps.’ All local veterans were seated in front of the BES student body, and they introduced themselves.
