Marriages
Wade Lee Crain of Farina and Kendra Rochelle Uphold of Kinmundy were married on Saturday at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church. The couple resides in rural Kinmundy.
Kacy Dorr and Callan Wickenhauser were married on Sept. 28 at United Methodist Church in Maroa. The couple resides in Maroa.
Birth
Kenny and Shannon (Jenne) Martin of Watson, are the parents of a son,  Andrew Kannon Martin, born on Oct. 3.
He weighed 7 pounds, 15 ounces, and was 20 inches long. Andrew was welcomed home by sisters Alyssa and April. Grandparents are Curtis and Judy Jenne of St. Peter, and Vicki Bast of Greenup.
Baptism
Alexis Beth Grandt, daughter of Patrick and Bethany Grandt, was baptized on Sept. 28 at Zion Lutheran Church in Hiawatha, Iowa. Alexis is the granddaughter of Reggie and Kathy Grandt of St. Peter.
Visits Daughter
Belinda Harpster of St. Peter spent the weekend with her daughter, Mahala Jacquin of Villa Ridge, Mo. On Saturday, they attended the Witches Night Out in Kimmswick, Mo. On Sunday, they took Mahala’s Dalmatian, Norman, to Dogtober Fest in St. Charles.
St. Peter’s Lutheran Church
Attendance on Sunday was 166. Luke Bergmann served as acolyte. The organist was Rita Yagow.
Elders were Reggie Grandt and Jay Rothe.
