Lisa Moore joins L-U ad staff

Lisa Moore has been named the new advertising sales representative for The Leader-Union.

A native Illinoisan, she has lived in more than 20 communities around the United States as a military spouse. Since 2002, however, she has lived in the Lake of the Ozarks region of Missouri, where she became the owner of a property management company and part-owner of a boat rental company. She also was a full-time accountant, with 12 years of experience in retail sales.
She was an accounting major at the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University in North Carolina.
Last month, she moved to this area to be closer to family and friends. She has three grown boys and three granddaughters.
“It’s good to be close to home again,” she said. “I’m looking forward to pursuing my passion of marketing as I work with The Leader-Union’s advertisers here in Vandalia and the surrounding area.”
Added Leader-Union Publisher Dave Bell: “We’re excited about all the retail business experience that Lisa brings to the sales position.
"She understands the needs and challenges faced by small business owners. That puts her in a great position to help our advertisers develop an effective marketing plan for their business.”
She joins Leader-Union Advertising Manager Peggy Schulze in the advertising department.
