Vandalia School District to make cuts

The Vandalia School District will meet in special session on Wednesday evening to act on district cuts.

The 5 p.m. meeting will include reports and presentations on proposed athletic, fine arts and district cuts.

After a closed session, the meeting agenda states, the school board will act on a deficit reduction plan and expenditure cuts for the next school year.

Prior to the board meeting, at 2:30 p.m., district officials will meet with Vandalia Unit Teachers Association representatives.
