Why go out of town for Lincoln impersonator?

I was very upset when I learned that the people who run the Grande Levée had hired an Abraham Lincoln impersonator from out of town.
Abe Clymer has done an admirable job representing Abraham Lincoln at the Grande Levée for the past number of years, and I have enjoyed seeing him there.
The site superintendent has been trying very hard to get local people to volunteer at the Vandalia Statehouse. I think that when we have a local person who can present Abraham Lincoln as well as Abe does, we definitely should use him instead of a person from out of town.
