Linda M. Dow, 55, Cowden

Linda May Dow, 55, of Cowden, died at 5:57 a.m. on Friday, July 27, 2012, at St. John’s Hospital in Springfield.

Mrs. Dow was born on Oct. 15, 1956, in Effingham, the daughter of Ernest and Mildred Swick Ward. She married Charles William Dow; he died on Jan. 7, 2012.

She is survived by sons, Charles William Dow III, Ernest Leroy Dow and William Lee Dow, all of Cowden.
