Lucille Tipsword, 84, Brownstown

Lucille Tipsword, 84, of Brownstown, died at 2:40 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 2, 2012, at Lutheran Care Center in Altamont.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday at C&A Pagel Funeral Home in St. Elmo, with committal services at Arborcrest Memorial Park in Effingham. Visitation will be held one hour before services on Saturday at the funeral home. Memorials: The family or Lutheran Care Center.

Mrs. Tipsword was born on April 7, 1927, in Waldron, Ark., the daughter of Irmin and Audrey Godsey Lasiter. She married Vernon Tipsword; he preceded her in death.

She is survived by sons, James Oliver Logue Jr. and his special friend Jan of St. James, and Michael Logue and his wife Jo Ellen of Greenville; and daughters, Connie and her husband Dale Roll of St. Elmo, and Barbara and her husband Bill Hatcher of Cynthiana, Ind.
