? The Vandalia City Council will meet at 7:30 p.m. at city hall.

? A Caregiver Connection seminar, "Give Yourself a Break," will be held from 3-4 p.m. at Brookstone Estates, 1607 W. Fillmore St., Vandalia. Refreshments will be provided. A caregiver adviser will be available for individual consultations from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. at Evans Public Library in Vandalia; call 1-888-560-8805, ext. 1062, to make an appointment.
? The Vandalia Lions Club will hold its annual fireworks display at dusk at Vandalia Lake.

FOURTH OF JULY
? A horse show will be held at the Okaw Saddle Club, located at the intersection of Thrill Hill Road and Lake Wood Drive northwest of Vandalia. The pleasure class begins at 9 a.m., and the speed class begins at 1 p.m.
