Pauline L. Walker, 94, Patoka

Pauline Louise Walker, 94, of Patoka, died on Friday, March 2, 2012, at her home.

Services were held at 10 a.m. on Monday at St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Sandoval, with the Rev. Justin Olisaemeka officiating. Burial was in St. Lawrence Cemetery. Visitation was held from 4-8 p.m. on Sunday at Day Funeral Home, with a prayer service held at 7:30 p.m., with the Rev. Robert Zwilling officiating. Mrs. Walker was born on Nov. 8, 1917, in the same home in which she was born, the daughter of Fred Kleysteuber and Elizabeth Frahs. She married Glenn M. Walker on Nov. 24, 1939, at St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Sandoval; he died on Aug. 20, 1993.

She is survived by sons, Maurice “Boog” Walker and his wife Kendell of Effingham, and Fred Walker of Patoka; and daughters, Betty and her husband Virgil Wortman of Effingham, Glenda and her husband James Engel of Salem, and Jan and her husband Virgil Gillett of Patoka.
