OUR PLACE taking cards

OUR PLACE Youth Center is still accepting all types of used cards.
Being accepted are Christmas, birthday, thank you, sympathy and get well cards.
The youth at the center will sort the cards, cut them and mail them to St. Jude's Ranch for Children in Boulder City, Nev.
The cards help to raise funds for cancer research.
Cards may be dropped off at OUR PLACE between 6:30 and 8:30 p.m. on Mondays, Tuesdays or Thursdays.
The center is located at 507 W. Gallatin St. in downtown Vandalia.

Laptop drawing for Relay

Vandalia Rehabilitation and Health Care Center in Vandalia is selling raffle tickets for a Compaq Presario laptop computer, with the raffle proceeds to benefit Fayette County Relay for Life.
The tickets are $1 each or six for $5 and are available at Vandalia Rehab, located at 1500 W. St. Louis Ave. or by calling 283-4262.
The drawing will be held at 2 p.m. next Tuesday.
